xxM535M Lovely Vintage Linen Woven Draw String Purse.
Here is a nice, vintage linen or woven draw string purse. It is an off-white color, and measures 7” wide and 7 ½” tall (not including trim). It has a lovely diamond shape crochet piece in the center and fine crochet edging. The back is not decorated, except for the pattern of the weaving in the material. In nice condition, freshly laundered and pressed. No rips or tears that I can detect. This would be lovely on display in a vintage setting, or framed with other vintage vanity items. A nice item from an era when women apparently didn’t have a lot to carry around with them!   It os probably from the period 1870-1901. I am not sure, it can be older. L
