This is one of the most special dresses I have. Very hard to get it. At that time the bride dresses often colored. Among the lower strata of society were black used. With Train. The dress is thin muslin with lovely white stitching embroidery. Early in 1800, cotton is the news that was only reserved for the upper class. Musilin referred to a varity og white cloth woven from very finr spon Cotton yarns. The resulting cloth was transparent and gause-like.The gown is in very good condition.
