In 1857 the first factory was founded in Alessandria Italy. Borselino factory still exists and Borsalino fedora is the most famous of the hats.
This hat was imported and sold by Gunnar Øye Bogstadveien 52. The store is known for ita quality products for men and woman. The shop was founded in 1927 and is one of the oldest stores in Oslo.
