Fantastic Flora Danica 1960s brooch signed Eggert Denmark.
According to one of my online sources, Orla Eggert
back in 1953 perfected a method of perserving pieces of Danish
vegetation by dipping them in sterling silver and bonding them with 24K
gold.

*Flora Dancia, Sterling 925, Eggert Denmark. The rose leaves have a
kind of burnish gold that really sets off the single rose. In excellent condition Weighs 8 grams.
