For
your consideration is this rare pair of Ladies Antique Slippers or
Shoes dating to around 1790-1810. They are made of a pumpkin-colored
leather with linen lining the inside and leather footbeds. They measure
9.5 inches from heal to toe and roughly 3 inches across at the widest
part of the shoe. They look to be hand stitched with matching
pumpkin-colored ribbon closure. The bow on one of the shoes is
replaced. They feature a square toe and leather soles. The footbeds are
missing some of the leather from use. The pumpkin leather shows wear
and spots consistent with age. Some of the ribbon sewn onto the opening
of each shoe has disappeared. Overall this is a lovely pair of early
ladies shoes/ slippers. They have no left or right. The condition is very good
