Unfortunately, no pictures this dress justice. I will take new fotofrafier later. The dress in silk is a kind of pannier, and has hand-embroidered white stitch embroidery. It is made of maison Jeanne Paquin.

The French fashion designer Jeanne Paquin (1869 - 1936) was known for her modern designers. In her time , Paquin  had a prestige equal to that of Charles Frederick Worth and Jacques Doucet but is nowadays largely forgotten.
