M139M 1860 Purse. This is a charming little antique change purse, made  in the 1850-60 period. It features a beautifully designed bird on its back, sitting in an oval, adorned with leaves and stylized flowers. All of this decoration is done in heavy, clear glass beading; all of the original beading is intact. It has 6 clear glass loops that hang about an inch down from the bottom. It is exquisite workmanship. It is quite lovely, on it's purple cloth background.

Here are the measurements of the bag, laying flat: the body of the bag is 4 1/4" wide and it is 3" tall, not including the 1" dangling beaded loops. If squeezed, the sides pop out to make it about 1 1/4" thick.  L
